North Wales is famous for its castles, and the 13th Century Conwy Castle is nearby in the walled town of Conwy. There are also other castles to be visited locally at Caernarfon, Dolwyddelan and Harlech.
There are numerous steam railways in the area, and the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway and Llangollen Railway are all within easy reach.
Activities to be enjoyed include walking, climbing, horse riding, fishing, golf and mountain biking.
There are numerous walking and climbing opportunities in the Snowdonia National Park, and 3 local championship golf courses. A visit to the local RSPB reserve at Conwy is a must for birdwatchers, and fishing is available on the river Conwy, or on sea fishing trips from Llandudno.

The Manor Hotel is located on the seafront in Llandudno in North Wales and is well connected to the UK's road network via North Wales' A55 coastal expressway which links to the M6, and the A5 from the M54. Free parking is available on Queen's Road, or on the parade at the front of the hotel.
